Some patches of Felt Instruments’ libraries allow you to crossfade between different layers to explore a change in texture or dynamics.
By default, that change is mapped to the mod wheel (CC1) on your keyboard controller, also described as Modulation in your DAW.

Not all articulations support this. Please, consult the instrument’s manual to make sure that the one you’re trying to modulate does.→ MPE:
If your DAW supports MPE, you can modulate the MPE-enabled patches on a per-note basis. Please, enable the MPE mode located at the bottom of the interface before playing with your MPE instrument. If you need help with MPE, here’s a guide for you.
